MATCH REVIEW

Nigeria will be hoping to preserve their unbeaten run when they meet Serbia for the first time in London.

The Super Eagles are yet to lose any of their last six international games, and they would be eager to increase it to seven against the Europeans.

Despite his side’s win against Poland on Friday, Gernot Rohr wants to see further improvements against the team ranked 34th in the world.

“This team is a young team but also a team of leaders. If we stay humble and continue to work hard to improve our play we have huge potentials, but beating 2 Fifa top 10 teams in friendlies doesn’t mean we are now World Cup favourites,” he told media.

Following his impressive performance against the Polish side, Francis Uzoho is expected to protect Nigeria’s goalpost against Mladen Krstajić’s side.

The Europeans are also expected to change things up from the game against Morocco as they look to return to winning ways to boost their confidence ahead of the 2018 Fifa World Cup.
